Did you know the very first Codegarden took place in Copenhagen in 2005 with just 23 attendees?
Since then, our community has exploded, the energy has surged - and so has the conference itself, now welcoming hundreds of attendees. Returning to the city where it all began just made sense.
Copenhagen is accessible, walkable, and full of life, making it the perfect backdrop for bringing the global Umbraco community together. Getting here is easier than ever, which means more of you can join us.
Codegarden 2026 is packed with both business and tech content, from deep-dive workshops and advanced sessions to real-world case studies and strategy talks. You’ll leave with ideas, strategies, and knowledge you can put into practice immediately.
And don’t worry - work doesn’t have to stop while you’re here. Workstations will be available if something comes up. Plus, there are plenty of opportunities to extend your stay, with activities before and after June 10–11, so you can make the most of Copenhagen and the community.
“I discovered at Codegarden that you don’t have to be a developer - or know how to code - to belong here. If you’re curious about Umbraco or want to grow in your role, this is the place to learn, connect, and be inspired.”
— Joke Van Hamme“From deep‑dive technical sessions to casual chats over coffee, Codegarden is full of the kind of openness and optimism that’s rare in the tech world … You really feel like part of something.”
— Peter Gregory“There’s nothing quite like sharing space with hundreds of developers, designers, and digital peers united by a shared love of open‑source … the entire event is a celebration of openness, collaboration, and smart digital thinking.”
— Ian Grieve“If you’re curious about Umbraco or looking to be part of a genuinely friendly, creative community, this is your moment.”
— Gemma Disney“There’s a real mix between deep technical knowledge and community connection. I came away with insights I can apply right away - but also new peers to brainstorm with long after the event.”
— Dennis Kardys“AI was ubiquitous at Codegarden … the standout was the MCP Server - turning AI from a helper into something that can actually act within your CMS. That’s going to accelerate our workflows and reduce repetitive tasks.”
— Federico Corradi“Codegarden is not just a conference - it’s an opportunity to see the bigger picture, connect with peers, and come back with strategies that make a real difference for your team and organization.”
— Carl Sargunar
